“Paradise Cruises – Ha Long Bay”
This is not the cheapest option for a Junk Boat Tour but it is worth the extra $ in terms of the staff, quality of accomodation, food, excursions, etc. 3 day 2 night is the way to go! Hightly recommend it!!“Spectacular views, you just have to go there if you come to Vietnam” from Jill M – Perth, Australia.
We went on the 2 days 1 night calypso cruise. I had second thoughts about it because of the long bus ride and it seemed relatively expensive, but it really was worth it. The views are just amazing. The itinerary also includes a cave trip – this cave is huge and so interesting. There are heaps of other tourists in the cave, and in fact all over halong bay, often I thought the boats would crash into each other! The food is great on the boat, they really serve a feast for 2 lunches, a dinner and a breakfast. The rooms were really nice and spacious – it didn’t feel like we were on a boat at all. When the boat is moving it is very slow and smooth, and the water is calm so I don’t think anyone could be seasick. The itinerary also included a short cooking class, fishing, kayaking, and a “beach trip” with a hike up to a look out.
Visited March 2012“fantastic” from John & Simon Kirby, Australia.
The cruise was perfect, the food is great, the staff is very helpful and friendly, must see the floating fishing village and the limestone cave ,the rooms on the boat are as good as any hotel. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the tour.Very well organized and guides were very helpful. Thank you for organising our trip in Vietnam it was great. We will recommend you and Paradise to our friends.
