“Worth the price. Great experience”
4 of 5 starsReviewed 1 week ago
We spent 2 days and 1 night on board and had a fantastic time. We had 2 deluxe cabins (all rooms had balcony’s) and they were comfortable and spacious. We decided to split 1 adult and 1 child per room just for safety purposes as they are not interconnecting rooms. Room 1 was a queen bed with fantastic jet spa in the bathroom and Room 2 had 2 singles.Food was fantastic, enough variety for all of us (including our 13 and 10 year old). The six course dinner was huge! A tip: Drinks are expensive (for Vietnam) on any of these cruises so you may want to pack beer/wine/soft drink/juice and take it with you. Soft drink costs the same as beer and juice is more expensive so it's worth thinking of this for the kids.
The activities were a lot of fun, and even though the itinerary was tight, we never felt rushed to complete anything. All activities were suitable for our children and the staff were wonderful with them!

“Brilliant cruise, thoroughly recommended.”
5 of 5 starsReviewed 2 weeks agoFrom the minute we arrived we were looked after superbly. The staff are amazing and incredibly helpful. We informed them in advance that we were vegetarian and they made a very special effort to meet our needs. They prepared special food for us at the buffet lunch and for the multi course dinner. The food on the boat was plentiful and on the second day you have pastries early before you go to the fishing village and then a large brunch on return.
The facilities on the boat are excellent and room was lovely. It came with a balcony and a spa bath. There are plenty of activities to do but if you find these too hectic you are welcome to stay on the boat.
We did a two day/one night cruise but would have liked to stay for an extra day.

We did the 2 days/1 night cruise and were happy with the experience. The room and bathroom was beautiful! We had bath and shower and both worked perfectly. The bed was super comfortable and the room had with big windows to enjoy the views. As you will read in other comments the schedule is a little bit stressful, especially if what you want to do is to enjoy the boat. The activities were OK. Food was nice! It’s a shame that people don’t take much care of the bay… You will see plastic bags, bottles and rubbish in general floating around….Trip Advisor member

I would definitely recommend this cruise for anyone who wants to see Halong bay in style. As young travellers we would not normally choose a more expensive trip but as it was one of our birthday’s we decided to choose sealife cruise and we were not disappointed. They put a great deal of effort into helping us celebrate the special occasion which was very much appreciated. From looking around at other (cheaper) cruises it is clear that they all do roughly the same activities but if you want a nicer looking boat and cabin room with good food then sealife cruise delivers this. Our cabin was spacious and nicely decorated with a large window looking out over Halong bay. The en-suite bathroom and balcony were also lovely.
The staff were all so cheerful and attentive. They made the trip that much better with their enthusiasm.
The food was nice and they are extremely good at catering for any special dietary requirements e.g vegetarian. You won’t come away from the trip hungry!
We enjoyed all the activities as well: kayaking, swimming, the cave and the fishing village. They provide cold towels to cool yourself and a drink after each trip off the boat – a nice touch.
There doesn’t seem to be working wifi and the TV in the cabin bedroom did not work but this didn’t bother us because we were too busy admiring the beautiful view from the ship.
A big thanks to Jackie and all the rest of the team.
