archeologists conducted extensive research which led to the discovery of human bones and artifacts dating to 10,000 - 8,000 BC. The
cave has a wide, but short entrance which is said to resemble the shape of a frog's mouth. The cave is 5 meters above sea level and is

kayaking option is $15 per person.

“Ginger Cruise was wonderful” from Young – New York, USA
On the advice of many friends, my husband and I spent just one night on the Ginger cruise. Given the weather was misty and cool (beautiful nonetheless), I think this was the right amount of of time. The boat and the service were wonderful. Our room was clean and comfortable and just very very nice all-around. The food was delicious. We loved the trips to a cave and especially to a fishing village. There were a total of 14 guests on the boat, and as a result the whole experience felt very intimate. Our guide, Tuan, was very kind and helpful. also, this boat and it’s sister boats, Violet and Jasmine, took a slightly different route offering more of the spectacular scenery. If you are contemplating a lesser cruise, consider that this one comes with a private car to and from your hotel in Hanoi. We’d heard many harrowing stories about bus trips back and forth to Halong and weren’t interested. Our driver was great, and the trip, 3 hours and 45 minutes, went very smoothly. Oh, and bring a bottle of wine!
Visited January 2012“Beautiful” from Mats – Stockholm, Sweden
We went out for a two day cruise with Ginger Cruise at Halong Bay and it was so nice. The boat was very beautiful and never felt owercrowdet. The staff onboard were so serviceminded and made everything to make you feel comfortable.
Our cabin was like the boat very beautiful with a great bathroom and comfortable beds. Also very clean.
The lunch was OK, nothing special, but the dinner was great with a seafood buffé.
The tours that was included in the trip was very interesting (to a large cave and to a floating village). The deck was spacious and to get up in the morning at 7 and just sit on deck with a cup of tea and watch the fantastic landscape was magical.
The trip ended with a very good brunch before getting back to Halong.
A very nice and memorable tour.
