General
The 2 Dragon Legend ships are the newest members of the Indochina Junk fleet, proudly marking the highest standards of construction. Each Dragon Legend boat features 24 luxury cabins, 4 decks with both inside and outside restaurants, a spa, bar, sundeck area and other entertainment options.Each spacious cabin is a work of art with Vietnamese traditional hand crafted décor and modern facilities, a private bathroom includes a bathtub and big sea view windows. Dragon Legend cruise offers dramatic public spaces, impressive open air dining and a bar that definitely makes for a relaxing trip in the bay.
The mission of Indochina Junk Company and the Dragon Legend cruise is to offer trips to Bai Tu Long Bay in the less touristed area so the itinerary has been well researched to lead you far off the beaten track.
All the design features, itinerary and activities on board are customer oriented. The goal of the Dragon Legend cruise is to bring you another truly exceptional cruise experience of the greater Halong Bay area.

DAY 1: HON GAI HARBOR - BAI TU LONG BAY - VUNG DANG - CONG DAM - TRA SAN ( L, D)
07:40 - 08:00: Pick up at your hotel (near the Old Quarter in Hanoi) by Luxury van.
12:00 - 12:30: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.
12:30 - 13:00: Check-in. Cruise begins with welcome drink and safety briefing.
13:30 - 14:30: Set menu lunch served in the outdoor dining room (depending on the weather) while cruising into magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; admire the fascinating limestone karsts on the way.
15:00 - 17:00: Cruise to Vung Dang - Cong Dam area: Swim or relax on a white sandy beach; Go kayaking through the mystery Karst Mountains in Vung Dang area.
18:00 - 20:30: Return to Dragon Legend Cruise to refresh yourself in Mineral Seawater Pool, Fitness Room or the Spa and Massage Services before dinner.
20:30: Spend the rest of your evening relaxing, talking with the on board team, watching movies, listening to music... Overnight in Tra San area
DAY 2: TRA SAN - THIEN CANH SON CAVE - HON GAI HARBOR ( B, L)
06:30 - 07:00: Start a new day with a Tai Chi demonstration on the sun-deck.
07:00 - 07:30: Take in the morning view of the Bay's landscape with a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy breakfast in the fresh air.
7:30 - 09:45: Cruise to Cong Do area to explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.
10:00: Check out your cabin.
10:45 - 11:30: Enjoy a Buffet while cruising towards the harbor.
11:30 - 12:00: Disembark. Drive to Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province for a short break in this typical Vietnamese agricultural village which is rich in culture and traditions.
13:30 - 14:00: Enjoy water puppet show performed by local artists.
17:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.

Yen Duc is a beautiful Vietnamese village on the way from Halong Bay to Hanoi, which can provide many cultural experience and Vietnamese local life in rural area. Within 5 hours tour in this village, you can get a glimpse of village life and delicious Vietnamese cooking dinner. The tour has included shuttle bus transfer with cruise, dinner in village, farming activities, water puppet show and English speaking tour guide during 5 hour tour in village.

My wife and I did the overnight cruise around the bay, visiting the floating fishing village and having a swim before a cookery demonstration and a lovely dinner. Wines were good, red and white, and the sea bass with dinner cooked very well indeed. Bed was very comfortable, cabins clean large windows for a view of the bay as the sun rose. Early morning Tai Chi classes for those brave enough and a tour of a magnificent cave system, followed by a great brunch before finally saying goodbye. Would do this again with Cruise Lan Ha Bay, probably look at doing the two night tour.Visited March 2012

We love the cruise and we enjoyed the kayaking and visiting to the caves . We were lucky as the weather permitted us to do the kayaking, We heard on some days, (when the water gets too choppy), the boat cannot get to the Cat Ba island so they have to change the itinerary. The food was excellent, fresh seafood and vietnamese dishes. Everything went exactly as planned, thanks to Cruise Lan Ha Bay.
