Co To island

Famous as a new island destination in north Vietnam, Co To Island is situated in Quang Ninh province in Northern Vietnam. From the mainland this Island is the farthest settled island and its highest peak reaches 170m. Generally Co To Island is referred to as “Large Co To Island,” due to its relatively large area. Co To Island District is contained of forty islands diverging in size.

Three of the largest islands are Co To Island, Thanh Lan Island and Tran Island. Co To Island beach is enchantingly and delightfully beautiful and the visitors will hardly have any idea unless the beach is visited. Visiting this island brings you closer to the nature with relaxing, fresh and cool environment. The visit is also an opportunity to explore primeval forests, the remarkable lighthouse of Co To which is on the highest peak of the Co To island- 70 m above sea level, Ho Chi Minh’s Monument, Co To Pier, fishing village and natural reefs and islands and also sea, white sands and beautiful green mountains. This Beach is distinctive with white sands and blue water as clear as crystal. You can laze around and simply watch crowd of seagull flying above or walking around the beach and looking for their foods. You can indulge in activities like boating, fishing; organize a barbecue on the beach, snorkeling. Co To Island also offers plenty of seafood like shrimp, cuttle, fish at a very cheap price or you can even bring your own gas cooker and prepare your own food or rent local to cook for you. This is the perfect relaxation place that offers much more and one of the best ways to have a good chance to cover the most of the island as promptly as possible is to hire a motorbike.
